Psychology

At Feel Good Therapy our coaching and counselling approach is through the application of Positive Psychology. Initial consultation and assessment involves measuring levels, of emotional components and psychological strength components.

Focus is on interventions, talk therapy and promoting existing positive attributes and strength. The core component of Applied Positive Psychology is that every individual has a currently untapped strength that they can work with to make life better emotionally and psychologically.

For deep trauma that is rooted somewhere in the past, currently preventing an individuals ability to move forward in life, Feel Good Therapy utilises Somato-emotional release.

This works on the theory that trauma is locked somewhere in the body; that the body has a memory of that trauma which it struggles to release and requires help with. This work can be intense and deeply cathartic, however it is also immensely rewarding in its ability to transform and release emotional, physical, psychological and spiritual components of pain and anguish.
